The Farm & Mission

Building Gammy’s Garden Gate Farms in Northwest Arkansas

We are creating Gammy’s Garden Gate Farms — a teaching and community micro-farm in Northwest Arkansas that cultivates hope, soil, and self-reliance for families, veterans, and future growers.

Our Mission

To establish Gammy’s Garden Gate Farms — a teaching and community farm that provides hands-on education, purpose-driven work, and practical skills in sustainable living for families, veterans, and the wider community of Northwest Arkansas.

We believe that farming is more than food.
It’s purpose, healing, connection, resilience, and hope.

Core Focus Areas

Hands-On Education

Workshops, field days, and learning modules in gardening, homesteading, small livestock care, and sustainable living.

Families learn together. New growers gain confidence.

Veteran Purpose & Support

Many veterans find healing through structure, routine, and working with the land.

Our farm provides quiet, purpose-filled farm work and community support — no pressure, no noise, just room to breathe.

Family & Community Resilience

Strong communities start with strong families.

We teach skills that make households less fragile and more self-reliant: food production, water stewardship, and working together.

Our Phased Plan

We’re building the farm step by step, with clear goals and careful planning.

Phase 1 — Foundations (Current Stage)
• EIN approved
• IRS 1023 filed for 501(c)(3)
• Vision, planning, and nonprofit structure
• Identifying property in Northwest Arkansas

Phase 2 — Land & Infrastructure
• Secure 15–20 acres in the Ozarks
• Water, power, fencing, storage, and basic farm systems
• Establish demonstration garden beds and starter greenhouse

Phase 3 — Programs Launch
• Family workshops
• Veteran farm days
• Homestead skills classes
• Soil, water, and food resilience education

Phase 4 — Growth & Deep Roots
• Expanded teaching zones
• Partnerships with schools, churches, and community groups
• Long-term veteran support pathways
• Seasonal community events

Our Vision for the Future

We see a farm where families learn to grow food together.

We see veterans finding purpose and peace in the soil.

We see children discovering the magic of planting a seed — and watching it become something real.

We see neighbors helping neighbors, sharing harvests, and rebuilding the community spirit that used to define rural life.

We see hope, healing, and hands-on learning happening every single day.

This is more than a farm.

It’s a place for people to grow.

Help Us Build This Dream

Our mission is big, but it starts with simple steps — and people who believe in it.
